Outlet stores open early in Grove City

Posted: Updated:

GROVE CITY, Pa. - Stores opened their doors earlier than usual at the Grove City Premium Outlets this Thanksgiving.

Lines formed outside Vera Bradley, Coach, American Eagle and Old Navy.

Last Thanksgiving many stores opened at 10 p.m.. This year, that start time was bumped up to 8 p.m.

"Most people in the area are eating earlier and earlier their Thanksgiving at 1 p.m. and by 8, they're ready to work a little bit off and start shopping," says Grove City Premium Outlets marketing director Michele Czerwinski.

The sale continues through Monday. The marketing director says that's when hunting season starts and a lot of people are off work that day too.
