Michigan football fans take graveyard stroll

Posted: Updated:

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - A group of Michigan football fans took a recent stroll through an Ann Arbor graveyard ahead of Saturday's showdown with rival Ohio State.

The fans stopped by the final resting places of Wolverines coaches Fielding Yost and Bo Schembechler and announcer Bob Ufer.

Michigan alum Jeff Holzhausen was among those in the crowd at Forest Hill Cemetery.

At Schembechler's grave, Holzhausen played the legendary coach's famous speech about "the team" on his iPod.

The Michigan Daily reports one by one, Holzhausen and the other fans laid maize and blue roses at Schembechler's grave, and a member of the marching band led the group in a chorus of "The Victors."

No. 3 Oho State is undefeated and heavily favored to stay that way after playing Michigan at the Big House.
