YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Travis Betran made two free throws to give Austin Peay the lead and Zavion Williams' jump shot with 15 seconds to go secured the Governors' 88-86 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday night.

The lead went back and forth until Kendrick Perry hit a pair of 3-pointers to give the Penguins (6-3) a six-point lead 82-76 with 6 minutes left. The Governors (4-3) passed the Penguins with Betran's free throws with 1:12 remaining. Perry drove and had a layup roll off the rim with 49 seconds left before Williams hit his big basket.

Youngstown State had a final chance but Marcus Keene's 3-point try missed at the buzzer.

Betran finished with 24 points and Williams 20. Chris Horton added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Demarius Smith had 10 assists. The Governors shot 58.3 percent.

Perry scored 32 points, Kamren Belin 14, Keene 12 and Bobby Hain 11 for Youngstown State.
