Fundraiser in Warren for Betty's Angles

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio - A buffet luncheon and fashion show helped raise money for Betty's Angles.

The Ohio Attorney General's office had praise for Betty Strawderman and her volunteers at the fundraiser at the Trumbull Country Club.

Kelli Grace, The Victim's Outreach Coordinator for Attorney General Mike DeWine, says it doesn't take much to positively change a life forever.

"People like betty and people that have programs that help children they are making a difference not only in that childs life but theyre having a ripple effect," Grace said.

"They're with me for all different reasons; whether it's the drug addiction in the area, because of victims of crime, or homeless due to the parents not being employed. They need long term care," Strawderman said.

Strawderman says the money from the fundraiser will buy Christmas gifts for the children and warm school clothes.
