SOUTH PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP, Pa. - There is new information about the deaths of two Mercer County men.

The coroner's office has concluded that 50-year-old Sandy Joseph Hoffman died of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

His body was found Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hermitage.

South Pymatuning Township police found the body of Hoffman's roommate, 53-year-old Michael Eugene DeLong at a Buckeye Drive home.

He'd been shot in the back.

Before discovering the bodies, police received a call from a man claiming to be Hoffman saying he shot another man in self defense.

Police are still examining evidence to determine whether or not Hoffman shot DeLong.
