Browns WR Josh Gordon on record run

Posted: Updated:

BEREA, Ohio (AP) - No receiver in NFL history has strung together four weeks like Cleveland's Josh Gordon.

With 774 yards receiving, Gordon set a league record for a four-game span. And although his performance on Sunday at New England wasn't his highest game statistically, it may have been Gordon's best as a pro.

He dominated the Patriots highly touted cornerback Aqib Talib, who tried to be physical with Gordon and failed. A frustrated Talib was called for three penalties - one was declined - and could only watch as Gordon ran away from him on an 80-yard touchdown.

Gordon leads the league with 1,400 yards and he's averaging 127.3 yards per game. Gordon has posted those stats in just 11 games since he was suspended from Cleveland's first two.

However, the most impressive number tied to Gordon may be 22 - his age. He's just getting started.
