Preschoolers donate $150 to Warren Family Mission

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio  -  They are only three, four and five years old, but they already understand the meaning of the "giving spirit" this holiday.

Preschoolers at the Warren Christian Preschool, located inside the Warren First Assembly of God Church on Parkman Road, collected all of their loose change since Thanksgiving, a collection totaling $150.

They presented a $150 check to the Warren Family Mission to help those in need this Christmas.

Richard Bailey, the Director of Warren Christian Preschool, said, "These kids just amaze me daily on the little nuggets of truth that you try and instill in their little lives. You can't plan for that, it just happens, and you're amazed they really do understand, and they want to help."

Eric Lewis with the Warren Family Mission says the money means a lot to so many who have fallen on hard times.
