Man indicted for his sister's murder in Howland

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio - The Trumbull County Grand Jury indicted the man accused of killing his sister in their Howland Township home last week.

Bradley Milligan, 48, is charged with two counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated robbery.

Howland police performed a welfare check December 18 for Laura Michael at the Howland Springs Road home where she lived and police say Milligan often stayed.

Milligan allowed officers into the home where they found Michael's body hidden in the basement.

They believe she was beaten to death by the hands of another and possibly a sharp object.

Milligan and Michael were involved in a previous domestic violence case in 2012 at the same address.

It's not known how long Michael's body was left in the basement or why her car was found parked at the Super Kmart in the Eastwood Mall complex.

No arraignment date has been set.
