Great Groceries: Spicy Cranberry and Cream Cheese Dip

Spicy Cranberry and Cream Cheese Dip

1 (12 oz.) package fresh cranberries

1/4 cup green onion, chopped

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped

1 1/4 cup sugar

1/4 tsp. cumin

2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1/8 tsp. salt

2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese

In a food processor combine cranberries, onion, cilantro and jalapeno. Chop until ingredients are finely chopped. Add sugar, cumin, lemon juice and salt; process again until mixed well.

Before serving, spread cream cheese evenly onto a serving platter. Pour cranberry mixture overtop and serve immediately with crackers or tortilla chips.
