WARREN, Ohio - Two nonprofits will be giving away warm coats, hats and gloves to those in need on Tuesday.

The Franklin Street Salvation Army in Warren will be passing out at least 200 coats from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. Tuesday.

On Monday they passed out more than 500 coats to people who needed them.

The Warren Family Mission is also reaching out to people in need with free items to stay warm.

The mission will be giving away hats, coats, gloves, scarves and winter bedding for anyone in need on Tuesday.

The giveaway will be at the residence 361 Elm Road from 10 a.m through 2 p.m.

Some items were passed out Monday but the building manager said they collected quite a bit and have many more items to give away Tuesday.
