Suspect in Campbell mobile meth lab dies

Posted: Updated:

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County coroner is investigating the death of a man accused of operating a mobile meth lab.

Thirty-year-old Jeremy Bowker of Rogers died on Friday.

He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday to answer charges of illegally manufacturing drugs.

Bowker and 36-year old Jean Hartzell of Pittsburgh were indicted in December by the Mahoning County grand jury.

In November, Campbell police pulled over the vehicle the two were riding in at 12th Street and Reed Avenue, and found chemicals that could be used to make methamphetamine

Three officers had to be rushed to the hospital after opening up the trunk because they were overcome with fumes.
