Newton Township woman charged with robbing Warren pizza shop

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, Ohio - A Newton Township woman, already facing charges of receiving stolen property and passing bad checks, is now accused of robbing a pizza shop.

28-year-old Jessica Bucco was arrested after police identified her as a suspect in Friday's hold up of the Little Ceasars at 2525 Youngstown Road SE in Warren.

Store employees say a woman fitting Bucco's description attempted to use several credit cards to make a purchase, but all of the cards were rejected.

They say the woman then handed them a note that stated, "Give me everything in the register. I have a gun."  The woman then opened her purse displaying a gun.

The clerk emptied the cash register onto the counter. The woman grabbed the cash and left the store.

An officer reviewing surveillance video identified the suspect as the same woman he had arrested for passing bad checks at the Huntington Bank branch on Main SW.

Braceville Police later arrested Bucco.
