Trial date set in D&L dumping case

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A trial date has been set for the former owner of a Youngstown business accused of violating clean water regulations.

Ben Lupo will stand trial April 8 in federal court in Cleveland.

Lupo is accused of ordering an employee at D& L Energy to drain waste water into a Youngstown sewer.

That employee, Michael Guesman, pleaded guilty to his part in the dumping and is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
