YSU men have lost 3 games in the final minutes

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - If college basketball lasted only 36 minutes, it would be a different story for the Youngstown State men's basketball team.

The Penguins have lost three league games in the final minutes of play.

Instead of being 4-6 and in 7th place, they would 7-3 and vying for a first round bye in the conference tournament.

With five league games remaining, it's crucial the Penguins get better in the final minutes.

"We keep telling our guys that almost every one of our games in the loss column, all year long, has been in the last four minutes. Therefore, you have to be smarter in those four minutes and play better than what we we've played," said coach Jerry Slocum.
