New Castle man arrested for allegedly threatening snow plow driver with a gun

NEW CALSTE, Pa. - A New Castle man was arrested for putting a gun to a snow plow driver's head.

Pennsylvania State Police tell 21 News that 64-year-old Richard Eckert became angry when the driver accidentally pushed some snow into his yard while cleaning a neighbor's driveway in Union Township Monday night.

Eckert allegedly pressed a 22 caliber pistol against the driver's cheek and told him to remove the snow.

Eckert is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
