YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Alec Brown landed 11 of 16 from the field and scored 24 points in propelling UW-Green Bay to a 71-40 rout over Youngstown State on Thursday night.

Keifer Sykes added 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the Phoenix, who shot 55 percent and outrebounded Youngstown 37-25.

UW-Green Bay (20-5, 10-2) led Youngstown State (13-13, 4-7) by as many as 19 points after Brown hit a 3-pointer 2 minutes before the half and settled for a 39-23 lead at intermission.

Green Bay continued its dominance in the second period and closed with a 14-3 run, with its biggest lead of 32 points coming on a Lamin Fulton jumper with 1:30 to play.

Youngstown State lost its fourth straight game and was led in scoring by Bobby Hain with 11 points.

The Phoenix remains atop the Horizon League and play the next four of their five games on the road.
