Valley rape crisis centers receive funding from the state

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Valley rape crisis centers will receive new grant funding from the state.

Compass Family and Community Services in Youngstown is one of the 25 rape crisis centers statewide to receive the grant money.

Ohio's attorney general has awarded $1 million across the state to help survivors of sexual assault.

The Rape Crisis Team of Trumbull County will also receive grant money from the state's Rape Crisis Program Trust Fund.
