Man sentenced for driving mobile meth lab in Mahoning County

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An Atwater, Ohio man is sentenced on charges filed after police say he was operating a mobile meth lab in Mahoning County.

Back in May, authorities in Smith Township pulled over a vehicle that was swerving along a road in Smith Township.

27-year old Stephen Kalcic was driving and his girlfriend's two small children were passengers.

A search of the vehicle uncovered chemicals used to manufacture drugs.

Kalcic pleaded guilty to felony charges in Mahoning County Common Pleas court on Tuesday.

Judge John Durkin sentence Kalcic to five years in prison.
