LORDSTOWN, Ohio -  Employees at the General Motors assembly plant here will be working two more shifts to keep up with demand for the Chevrolet Cruze.

According to the UAW local 1112 web site, all three shifts will be working on the assembly line Saturday March, 15th and March 29th.

On Monday, General Motors reported February Cruze sales up 21 percent compared to the same period one year ago.

GM says it was the best February sales figures on record for the small car.
