Horizon League women's basketball tournament ticket information

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Tickets are available for the Youngstown State women's basketball team's Horizon League Championship quarterfinal contest against Oakland on Wednesday, March 12. Tipoff at the Beeghly Center is set for 7:05 p.m.

The Penguins are the No. 3 seed in the tournament after posting a 10-6 record in Horizon League play. The Grizzlies are the sixth-seed and went 8-8 in Horizon League play. The teams split the regular-season meetings with each winning at home. YSU beat Oakland 79-64 at the Beeghly Center on Jan. 25.

Reserved chairback seats are $10 while general admission tickets are $7. YSU students will be admitted free with a valid student ID.

Season-ticket holders have until the end of the day Tuesday to purchase their seats for the contest.

The YSU Athletic Ticket Office will be open in Stambaugh Stadium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The ticket office will open at 6 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the 7:05 p.m. tip.

The winner of the YSU-Oakland game will advance and play either Wright State/Milwaukee in the semifinals. Green Bay is the tournament's top seed.
