Relative: Punch led to deadly Ohio bar shooting

Posted: Updated:

FREMONT, Ohio (AP) - Relatives say a man suspected of shooting and killing three men at a northern Ohio bar punched one of the victim's wives just before opening fire.

Police issued an arrest warrant Monday for 33-year-old Igmidio Mista. The warrant charges him with three counts of murder.

One of the victims in the shooting early Sunday at the Last Call Bar in Fremont was an off-duty police officer.

The officer's uncle tells the Sandusky Register that the shooter argued with the officer's wife before punching her in the face.

He says a fight broke out and the suspect left the bar, only to return with a gun.

The officer's wife, who would not provide her name, told The (Toledo) Blade newspaper that she had been punched before the shooting started.
