Storm to give Pa. another blast of winter weather

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Pennsylvanians are in line for another blast of cold, rain, snow and wind as the long winter is preparing to deliver another blow.

Forecasters said warm temperatures on Tuesday will eventually be pushed out on Wednesday by cold air from the north and moisture from the southwest.

The northern tier from Erie to Bradford, and south through the Laurel Highlands, are likely to get a decent amount of snow, while mostly rain is predicted from Harrisburg to the Philadelphia region.

Temperatures are also going to drop quickly, feeling more like January with wind gusts in the 20 to 30 mph range.

National Weather Service meteorologist John LaCorte in State College says it definitely won't feel like the second week of March.

The first day of spring is next week.
