YPD officer in court for disorderly conduct

AUSTINTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Youngstown Police Department's  office of internal affairs will be looking into the arrest of a city police officer in Austintown Monday night.

Officer Ken Bielik was arraigned in county court this morning on a charge of disorderly conduct.

According to reports, township police were called to a large fight at the Sheetz gas station on Mahoning avenue.

Police say officer Bielik, who was off-duty at the time, became confrontational and acting aggressively toward them.

Bielik's pre-trial is scheduled for May 12.
