YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - An indictment handed up by the Mahoning County Grand Jury provides new information on a Green Township man accused of raping a young girl.

Goshen Police took 45-year old Robert Seman Junior into custody Saturday for allegedly raping a 9-year old girl.

The indictment issued on Thursday indicates that the alleged assaults took place over a period of four and a half years, from the time the girl was only four years old, and continued until she was eight.

Seman Jr. faces four counts of rape and four counts of gross sexual imposition.

The victim's mother contacted authorities after her daughter told her that Seman had sexual contact with her several times.
