PULASKI TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police in a Lawrence County community went the extra mile in trying to catch a man who was reportedly exposing himself to Amish children.

Pulaski Township police sergeant Chad Adams reports on the department's Facebook page that he went undercover in January, posing as an Amish woman hoping to catch the suspect.

Adams writes that an individual was preying on children walking home from school.

The suspect would get out of his car and expose himself.

Sgt Adams would walk the roads in his disguise hoping to lure the suspect.

Sgt. Adams reports that the department did not arrest the suspect, but believes he was apprehended in another county.

Adams says he waited until now to reveal the undercover operation because the investigation is over

Neshannock and New Wilmington Police assisted in the investigation
