The Scrappers host “POPS at the Ballpark” featuring the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra

NILES, Ohio – The Mahoning Valley Scrappers and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra are excited to host one of the Valley's premiere summer events, POPS at the Ballpark, presented by Stanley E. Shearer with Northwestern Mutual and 21 WFMJ on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Eastwood Field.

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra will perform a selection from their repertoire which will culminate in a spectacular fireworks finale synched to Star Wars Main Titles and Stars and Stripes Forever. Other song performance highlights in the program include: Williams' "Indiana Jones Main Titles", "E.T." and "Superman", Fleischer's "Broadway Rocks", "Beatles Overture" and "Mission Impossible" and Rossini's "William Tell Overture".

Tickets for POPS at the Ballpark go on sale Friday, April 18th at 8:30am and start at just $16. Tickets are available at the Eastwood Field Box Office, online at www.mvscrappers.com or by calling the Scrappers at 330-505-0000.
