Canfield Fair announces 2014 grandstand attractions

CANFIELD, Ohio - Tickets go on sale June 9 for this year's Canfield fair grandstand shows.

The 168th edition of the event features several grandstand shows including Reba McEntire on Sunday August 31st and Justin Moore on September First.

Other attractions include:

- Wednesday, August 27th The Lucas Oil Monster Truck Nationals
- Friday, August 29th Demo Derby
- Saturday, August 30th Canfield Fair Championship Truck & Tractor Pull

Beginning June 9th at 9:00 a.m., tickets can be purchased tickets using three options.

1. The Fair website - www.canfieldfair.com

2. The Fair Box Office, temporarily located in the Administration Building #20 on the fairgrounds, will be open Monday - Friday 9 am to 2 pm. After the first week, box office hours will be Monday and Thursday only 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

3. The Fair Box Office phone number (330/533-4107) using a debit/credit card Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

After the first week, phone orders will be taken but not filled until the next regularly schedule box office open day.

Ticket prices for 2014 grandstand shows will be listed on the website ticket page on the date they go on sale.

Youth tickets for both the Demo Derby and Truck & Tractor Pull will be available through the web site. No ticket exchanges for youth tickets will be made once the original purchase is complete.

Reserved seating means persons 3 years of age and older are required to purchase a ticket. Persons under 3 years of age are admitted free providing they sit on the lap of a paying ticket holder.

    CINCINNATI (AP) - An estimated 5,000 to 8,000 gallons of fuel oil spilled into the Ohio River, closing about a 15-mile section of the waterway southeast of Cincinnati.
