New QB will bring some offensive changes to YSU

Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

The Youngstown State football team puts a wrap on spring practice with its annual Red-White game on Friday night at Stambaugh Stadium.

Much of the attention has been at quarterback where a decision on the starter won't be made until fall practice.

No matter which of the four; Dante Nania, Ricky Davis, Tanner Garry or Nick Wargo, get the job, look for the offense to change slightly.

“I think you'll see some different things. Depends on what game you watch. I think there are a lot of things you see out there in college football. Obviously you see a lot of quarterbacks run with the football. I think the other thing is there is some design runs and there are also some run pass situations that you'll see over the course of a game. It depends on the game and who we're playing when we'll use them,” said YSU head coach Eric Wolford.
