Steel music notes add finishing touch to Grohl Alley clean up

Posted: Updated:
WARREN, Ohio - The finishing touch arrived on Monday to transform what was the target of a vandal in downtown Warren.

Life-size music notes, made of quarter-inch steel, were delivered Monday morning at Dave Grohl Alley.

Volunteers helped unload the notes that were donated by Greco Steel Company of Youngstown and HR Evans in East Palestine.

Local artists and the community helped transform the alley after it was vandalized last month.

"It just makes you feel good when other cities, other companies and other people from somewhere else want to help you out," Joe O'Grady says, alley organizer.

O'Grady says they plan to paint the notes in colorful shades for visitors to enjoy.
