YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Some Youngstown city workers are getting pay raises for the first time in about four years.

On Wednesday, city council approved contracts with the Teamsters union and AFSCME.

Street department workers and employees in the water department will get a one percent raise this year, a one and a half percent boost in 2015, and a one percent hike in 2016.

City employees could pay more for their health care in 2016.
