Valley well represented in the NCAA baseball tournament

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

Besides the Youngstown State baseball team in the NCAA tournament, there are several other players with local ties who will be taking part in this weekend's games.

Hubbard's Bo Slemons is with Xavier. They are the Big East champions and the fourth seed in the Vanderbilt regional and play the Commodores. The Muskateers are 29-27. Slemons played in 35 games, batting 275.

Kent State has a trio of players from Grove City. Alex Miklos leads the Flashes in hitting and is joined by Jeff and Jason Revesz. The 36-21 Flashes are also the fourth seed in the Louisville regional and play the Cardinals on Friday.
