Bridge construction to disrupt traffic patterns in Columbiana County

Posted: Updated:
FAIRFIELD TWP, Ohio -
Traffic in Fairfield Township in Columbiana County will be routed away from State Route 558 starting Monday as crews work to replace a bridge along the road, just east of Route 164.

Reports say Route 558 will be closed for 80 days starting June 2, to replace the bridge deck over State Route 11. Traffic on SR 11 under the bridge will also have daily lane and width restrictions.

ODOT's detour around the construction will start at the intersection of SR 164 and SR 558. Traffic will be detoured on SR 164 to SR 517 and back to SR 558. Construction is expected to be completed by September 2014.
