Popbar signs agreement with Kaydar Enterprises, Inc. to bring their business to the greater Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas
MIAMI, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Popbar, the maker of customizable popGelato, popSorbetto, and YogurtPops, founded in New York, New York in 2010, has signed a multi-unit franchising agreement with Kaydar Enterprises Inc, owned by Miami residents, Clifford and Shannon Mays. The development will focus on the broader Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas.
Miami, Florida will now become the third US city to claim Popbar locations, joining with Anaheim, California and the original West Village New York store. Popbar's International locations can be found in Jakarta, Indonesia; Torreon, Mexico; and Edmonton, Canada. New openings are also scheduled for Seoul, South Korea and Moscow, Russia.

Popbar was founded in New York City in 2010 by Reuben BenJehuda, who has sweet memories of eating gelato with his friends in his hometown of Milan Italy, and Daniel Yaghoubi, who acquired pop-making skills when growing up in Hamburg, Germany.
