Columbiana County raids net $24,000 drug haul

LISBON, Ohio -

Undercover agents say they found drugs worth $24,000 during two raids in Columbiana County.

Agents from the Columbiana County Drug Task Force, along with federal agents served two search warrants on Tuesday.

Authorities say they found $1,000 worth of cocaine and $1,200 cash at the Madison Township home of Michael Byers at 15838 Johnson Road. Byers was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Investigators say they confiscated $8,000 worth of cocaine and $15,000 worth of heroin at the Detrick Orrell home at 373 Ninth Avenue in Liverpool Township.

Officers also recovered a large amount of counterfeit currency.
