Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

A shooting inside a Youngstown convenience store leaves two people wounded, one of them a ten-year-old boy.

It happened at Ally's Food Store on South Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Detective Sergeant Daryl Martin says the shots were fired by two different gunmen.

"It was some kind of an argument between two guys. They carried the argument into the store." said Martin. "One pulled out a gun and started shooting. The other one had a gun also and started shooting back.  It looks like maybe the two people that got shot were innocent people. They just happened to be in the store."

One victim is a ten year old boy and the other is a part owner of the store.

The child's wound was described as not serious. The other victim was taken into surgery.

The two gunmen escaped the scene.
