Posted: Updated:
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -

A Cortland man is accused of possessing child pornography.  The Trumbull County  Grand Jury handed up a fifteen count indictment against 32-year-old Ian Thomas Weddell.

Cortland police first discovered the evidence in the case back in November.  Prosecutors say that investigators found that Weddell was in possession of pictures and videos of female children either nude, semi-nude or engaged in sex acts.

Weddell is charged with eleven counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, and four counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

A summons has been issued for Weddell to appear in court to answer the charges.
