Hollywood Gaming makes donation to fireworks celebration

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - One of Austintown's new neighbors is giving back to the community.

Mike Galle, the general manager of Hollywood Gaming, presented a $1,000 check to the committee putting on the township's July 3rd fireworks celebration.

Hollywood Gaming is one of the co-sponsors of this year's fireworks at Austintown Township Park.

Trustee Jim Davis says the money will be put to good use to make sure the all day event offers something for everyone.

    At least two people were taken to different hospitals following a crash involving five vehicles at the intersection of State Route 82 and Howland Wilson Road SE in Howland.  Dispatchers say four cars sustained heavy damage in the accident that happened around 5:20 p.m. Thursday. According to police, the crash happened after a driver committed a left turn violation.
