Design Shop opens it's doors in Warren

WARREN, Ohio -
Youngstown Design Works opened it's inaugural Pop-Up Design Shop in Warren.

The agency run by Youngstown State University graphic and interactive design students is offering help to small businesses.

For a package price of a few hundred dollars, or $50 an hour, students will design a logo, website, and branding materials.

Small business owners from across the valley were invited to take a first look at the shop at 124 North Park in Warren.

"We may provide you with a really great logo that will supercharge your business and make you known in the community," said R.J. Thompson, YSU assistant professor for graphic and interactive design. "We take the money you spend on those services and provide for our own program."

The Shop is a collaboration of Youngstown Design Works, the Warren Business Exchange, and Warren Redevelopment and Planning.

The shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through this Friday. You can make an appointment through YoungstownDesignWorks.com.
