BOARDMAN, Ohio -
Heavy rain in the Valley caused some overnight flooding on the roads.

Crews were called in to shut down the I-680 southbound exit ramp onto State Route 224, located near the T.G.I. Friday's, around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Boardman police and the State Highway Patrol were on the scene. High water reached levels of about two feet, and one car was towed from the area.

The Canfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 21 News the ramp has been closed all Wednesday morning. Traffic has begun to steadily move in Exit 11A towards Canfield, while crews are still working to clean up Exit 11B towards Poland.
