Woman injured helping turtle cross street in Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. -

Police are investigating an accident that injured a woman who was helping a turtle cross the street.

Investigators say they were called to East Main Street Just after 9:00 p.m. Monday to a reported car vs. pedestrian accident.

Police say that Patricia Shuster was driving in an  eastbound direction when her vehicle struck Kelsey Sweeney who was assisting a turtle crossing the road.

Sweeney was taken to Grove City Medical Center. Authorities say her injuries were not life-threatening.

The crash is still under investigation.
