Elitecore Enables Menatelecom to offer the first Nationwide LTE Service in the kingdom of Bahrain

LTE revenue and customer management platform has successfully enabled Menatelecom, Bahrain to implement its LTE Network roll-out in coexistence with its ongoing WiMAX Network.

Mumbai and Dubai, June 26, 2014. Elitecore Technologies, a leading provider of Integrated Policy, Charging and Revenue Management solutions, announces that its LTE revenue and customer management platform has successfully enabled Menatelecom, Bahrain to implement its LTE Network roll-out in coexistence with its ongoing WiMAX Network. Supporting up to 200,000 subscribers, Elitecore platform has supported complete WiMAX-to-LTE Transformation for Menatelecom by upgrading the existing Elitecore WiMAX platform to support LTE + WiMAX components through cost-effective integration with 3rd party Evolved Packet Core (LTE-EPC) components achieving smooth activation of multiple prepaid-postpaid services such as Voice, Data and bundled offerings (LTE + WiMAX services). The Elitecore platform was ready to go live in just 3 months.

Elitecore has offered a converged Product Portfolio enabling the operator to launch new LTE and WiMAX Data & Voice /IMS services on a single platform while allowing seamless integration between Services and Products for faster time-to-market. Online charging of prepaid VoIP and data services over IMS has achieved more competitive and innovative prepaid plans along with single point-of-sale portals to ensure real time customer acquisition and service enablement.
