Michael Amundsens CAT AND THE TROLLS is a Timeless Story of Love and Heroism in the American Wilderness

Posted: Updated:

As one of Hollywood’s most acclaimed and successful independent filmmakers, Michael Amundsen has been behind many beloved films including LEAN LIKE A GANGSTER and CHIHUAHUA THE MOVIE. His latest project, CAT AND THE TROLLS, is a passion project that originates in his own family history and tells the story of a young girl who shelters her younger brother from intruders in their home on the Montana plains. This feature film showcases the talents of two promising young actors, Marika Sayers and Chase Fox as well as premium production from a crew of veteran film makers.

Michael Amundsen has had a long and distinguished career in Hollywood because he is a storyteller of unrivaled brilliance. His ability to create stories that resonate with audiences for years to come has helped his movies and documentaries find viewers and make money long after most others flare out. CAT AND THE TROLLS is a story that will touch the hearts of children and parents, making this a story they will pass on to their own families in the future.

Unlike most feature films, CAT AND THE TROLLS will be made on a shoestring budget, with almost all of the $39,000 budget going to the production costs. Once the raw footage is obtained, Michael Amundsen will use it to acquire the funds to complete the post-production process. However, this important film project is still looking for financial contributors to help launch it. A new Kickstarter fundraising campaign allows film lovers to become a part of this important, historic project by making a financial contribution. Pledges may be rewarded with Christmas ornaments, original artwork, custom head bands, props from the movie, and producer credits.
