CAMPBELL, Ohio -

Campbell School Superintendent Matthew Bowen tells 21 News that the bus was on the road to transport students to summer school. He says that none of the students had been picked up yet

Bowen says the bus was backing up at the time of the crash, and all of the flashers were working.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. which troopers described as minor.

The Highway Patrol cited both drivers.  Bus driver June Hagg was cited for improper backing. The pickup truck driver, Ralph Moore received a citation for operating a vehicle under the influence.

Troopers say they suspect that Moore had been drinking.
