WARREN, Ohio -

A woman whose body was found along the side of a road in Warren has been identified as the daughter of a city police officer.

Investigators say the body of 23-year-old Sierra Roberts was found on Pershing Avenue SW Friday night.

Authorities confirm that the victim is the daughter of Captain Timothy Roberts, Division Commander of Emergency Services.

Police say there were no signs of visible trauma on the body.  Authorities believe her body was dropped off on the road side.

According to the police report, the body was naked.  A pair of men's boxer brief underwear and two white socks were located about 50 to 75 yards from the body.

It could take eight weeks before authorities receive results of  toxicology tests performed on the body to determine the exact cause of death.

According to court records, Sierra Roberts was on probation.  She was indicted on a charge of heroin possession in 2012.  Last year, Judge Wyatt McKay added additional conditions to her probation after she was cited for a violation.
