Regional Chamber hosts Facebook workshop for small businesses

CANFIELD, Ohio - More than 275 people attended a free workshop in Canfield on Tuesday at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

The event, hosted by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, was designed to teach small business owners how to optimize their presence on Facebook, the world's largest social network.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn tips, tricks and suggestions from successful small business owners.

Congressmen Bill Johnson and Tim Ryan also attended the event.

    A second Community Opioid Summit was held at the Covelli Center in downtown Youngstown on Wednesday. The event was sponsored by the Mahoning County Juvenile Court Advisory Board and the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board.
