Former Beaver Local substitute teacher faces child pornography charges

LISBON, Ohio -

A former Beaver Local School substitute teacher will be arraigned next week for child pornography and allegedly trying to lure a teenager to take part in sexual activity.

27-year-old Chad Grey of East Liverpool is scheduled to appear before a judge on July 10 to answer a three count indictment handed up by the  Columbiana County Grand Jury.

The 27-year-old East Liverpool man is charged with illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and importuning.

Grey was originally arrested last year on the disseminating charge. The other two charges were added by the grand jury.

According to Ohio Department of Education records, Grey's short term substitute teaching license expired in June of last year.
