AUSTINTOWN TOWNSHIP, Ohio -

Austintown Township is already fired-up for their 4th of July weekend activities.

Festivities began Wednesday evening with a car show at Trax Lounge. The township also received a $10,000 donation from Briarfield Healthcare. The money will go towards Thursday's celebration and fireworks.

"We are so excited about it. We've got bands tomorrow night, fire trucks, police cars, dog performances, clowns, Batman, himself, will be there. There is just so many things for so many people to do and be a part of. It all starts tomorrow at 4:00 at Township Park," said Jim Davis, Austintown Township Trustee.

Organizers recommend that if you plan on coming for just the fireworks, arrive at the Township Park by 9 p.m.
