Same robber hits same Shenango Township business twice

Posted: Updated:
SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Lawrence Co., Pa. -

Police say the same robber held up the same business twice in a matter of three days.

The first incident came just after 10:00 p.m. on July Fourth near Cascade Park.  Shenango Township police say that a man wearing a bandana to cover his face ordered the clerk at the Valero gas station on Washington Street to stuff money into a bag.

The clerk says that the robber stated two times that he had a firearm, but he never showed it.

After getting the cash, the thief ran away.

On Monday, police say the same suspect came into the store and told the clerk, "It's me again". Once again he claimed to have a firearm, and again fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash.

During the first holdup, the suspect was dressed in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, camo pants.

The suspect is described as a white male with a smaller build, pale complexion and light colored hair.

Anyone who may have any information concerning these incidents are requested to contact STPD at 724-654-2243
