PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Philadelphia Inquirer has promoted two deputy managing editors to the roles of managing editors.
The newspaper announced Tuesday that Sandy Clark, a deputy managing editor for features since 2011, will now oversee the features department, copy desk, news desk, graphics and photo operations, and Inquirer.com.
Gabe Escobar, who had been deputy managing editor for news, will oversee the newspaper's metro desk, health and science departments and investigative team. The newspaper said he will also work with the teams responsible for further developing the company's digital strategy.
