HAYES FAMILY OF LEES SUMMIT, MO ANNOUNCED AS WINNER IN FREE ROOF GIVE-AWAY SPONSORED BY BORDNER INSTALLATION GROUP OF RAYTOWN, MO

Posted: Updated:
* Friends, family and neighbors invited for the family-friendly festival style install celebration on July 12th from 9am – 1pm — snacks, snow cones, activities, and prizes. 11am presentation

WILLIAM & JENNIFER HAYES OF LEE’S SUMMIT, MO were announced as winners of a new roof in Bordner’s No Roof Left Behind TM initiative. Just a few years ago, Jennifer developed a pain disorder called RSD aka CRPS. It is a neurological pain disorder that causes her severe pain. Mrs. Hayes then underwent an experimental procedure that left her without use of her legs. Unfortunately, the Hayes’ story has continued downhill; last year Jennifer battled cancer and spent much time in the hospital and underwent several surgeries. As you can imagine, the families savings has been drained to cover healthcare costs. William says their son, Corbin is what keeps them going. “This roof means so much to my family, we really, really need it.” says Mr. Hayes. ” I truly believe a little community support could help my wife feel a little better and not so alone.

Bordner has scheduled the project for July 12th, weather permitting, with July 19th as the rain delay date. Bordner has dubbed the event a roofing Installation Celebration, as it promises to be a family friendly, festival style neighborhood event that the community is invited to join. “We don’t just work in Kansas City. We live here, shop here and raise our families here. We wanted to let the community know just how important they are to us,” says Rob Poettgen (Bordner’s General Manager). “Giving away a free roof seemed like a logical way to do that. The Hayes family has had to endure many hardships, and we hope this new roof helps to ease their burden.
